Comcast Operations Center Highlights Americon Control Room Consoles and Video

What a surprise to find an on-line resume and project brief by Ted Lango, a former Comcast customer in the Atlanta area. Ted and I worked together a few years ago to bring his Regional Operations Center (ROC) into being. He brought the vision and we did our part to make his new operations center the most sophisticated operation of its type in the US. I invite you to connect with Ted Lango for interesting insight on how he conceived and executed the project.

Now, a word about Ted. I have done hundreds of projects during my many years in this business and I have to say that Ted is one of the few executives that I’ve worked with that brought both technical know-how and unusual managerial ability to the project. This made my job easy.

I hope you found Ted’s project brief as interesting as I did. There were obviously many things going on behind the scenes that were not visible to me. He’s given you a “bird’s eye” view of the operations center layout and all of its components down to the detailed construction of the control room consoles and video wall. If you’ve been thinking about a control room upgrade and need help in formulating your vision for the consoles and video wall integration, give me a call and we’ll put some ideas on paper and develop a budget plan.
